When I was first diagnosed with Cancer friends would tell me “You Look Good”.  This statement or saying would make me angry because they did not know what I was going through both mentally and physically.  People say “You Look Good” for probably two reasons.  The first reason is because they want you to feel better and will even say it to you when you know that you look like you do not feel well.

The second reason is because they do not know what to say and it probably makes them feel better.  Now when I tell people that I have terminal cancer I always say, but God and Cancer have been good to me.  They have a puzzled look on their faces, but I explain that before I had Cancer very few people told me “You Look Good”.  Now that I have Cancer almost everybody tells me “You Look Good”.

I have chosen to share the “You Look Good” saying by creating a webpage/blog that hopefully will present information that will help Cancer patients, caregivers, family members and friends.
